Install FoxyFace Windows

To install the FoxyFace program, follow these steps in order:

  1. Download "FoxyFace.zip" archive from here.
    DownloadFoxyFace

  2. Unzip the archive downloaded in step 1 into any folder from which you feel comfortable running the program. The final result should look like this:
    UnzipedFoxyFaceResult

  3. Run the FoxyFace program.
    RunFoxyFace

  4. After waiting for a while you will see the following window, this means that you have successfully installed the program and run it:
    FoxyFaceMainScreen

Do not forget to install the FoxyFaceVRCFTInterface module after you install the FoxyFace program.


Error 0xc06d007e or similar​

FoxyFaceCrash

This error is most likely related to the fact that you are using an outdated version of Windows (all versions below Windows 10.0.19041 (20H1) are considered outdated). To solve this problem, there is a version of FoxyFace called FoxyFace-CPU-Only. It will not use your graphics card's hardware acceleration but will instead use your CPU, which can put a very heavy load on your computer if it is not powerful enough.

To run FoxyFace on an outdated Windows version, follow these steps:

  1. Download the "FoxyFace-CPU-Only.zip" archive from here.
    FoxyFaceCpuOnly

  2. Follow steps 2-4 from the guide above.

The program does not start​

The program should have created a file "latest.log", this file will be needed when you want to report a bug on GitHub Issues or Discord #Jeka8833.
